Susanna Hopkins (also known as Sue) is a pretty (but creepy), quiet and very petite American female otaku character from Genshiken.
She has very long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Sue loves yaoi, anime, manga, cosplay and to follow Ogiue Chika to everywhere she goes.
Most of the Japanese phrases Susanna uses are quotes from anime characters. She looks much younger than her real age (which is a mystery) and those who know it (such as Ohno Kanako) always refuse to tell for reasons unknown.
In real life Sue's second name is a tribute to Welsh actor Anthony Hopkins, famous for portraying disturbing characters. Her character design was also inspired by Izumi Konata from Lucky Star.
She ends up with Madarame Harunobu at the end of the manga series.
