A thin stick or rod used to stir drinks, usually coffee, cocktails and traditionally prepared sodas like melon soda and ice cream floats.
It usually has a small ball at the top to act as a counterweight and may sometimes have a also have small spoon at the bottom to increase its effectiveness.
If the rod is bigger and not used for drinks in a cup or drinking glass then tag stirring rod instead. If it's made from glass and used to mix chemical in a laboratory, use glass stirring rod instead.
