A wrestling hold innovated by the late wrestling legend Lou Thesz. Its full name is Stepover Toehold Facelock and popularized by retired Japanese wrestler Chono Masahiro (who was Thesz' protégé) and WWE wrestler John Cena.

This submission hold is performed on an opponent who is lying face down on the mat. The wrestler grabs one of the opponent's legs and places the opponent's ankle between their thighs. The wrestler then lies on top of the opponent's back and locks their arms around the opponent's head. The wrestler then pulls back, stretching the opponent's back, neck, and knee.

There is also an arm-trap, cross-legged variation of this move that was innovated by retired wrestler William Regal which he calls the Regal Stretch, and is currently used by one of his protégés, All Elite Wrestling wrestler Bryan Danielson. Danielson's fellow All Elite Wrestling wrestler "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry also uses a cross-legged STF that he calls the Snare Trap.
