A sports bra is basically a tight-fitting tank top with the bottom half cut off, exposing the midriff. Despite its name, it is typically not considered underwear. It is intended for wear during vigorous exercise that might cause the breasts to move uncomfortably or excessively, preventing discomfort and potential embarrassment during exercise.
