Road sign that shows the permitted maximum speed (in kilometer or mile) of a vehicle. It comes in various formats. In many countries such as the EU, Russia and Japan, they are simply encircled numbers. While in the US, the sign takes a rectangular shape and often contain all caps inscription that accompany the number.
