A dish consisting of spaghetti, pasta sauce, and meatballs mixed together. Contrary to popular belief in cartoons and other media, Spaghetti and Meatballs is not a traditional Italian dish but a Italian-American dish as its creation was the result of early Italian immigrants combining two different dishes from Italy (Spaghetti with pasta sauce and small meatballs) and using ingredients available in their new home in the United States like extra beef which is plentiful in America.
