A fictional character from the Mobile Suit Gundam science fiction and mecha anime TV series from 1979.

Sleggar Law is a womanizing and alcoholic veteran Earth Federation Space Forces soldier and pilot who serves as senpai to most of the young crew of the White Base. Sleggar dies in battle with Zeon forces when his Core Booster is crushed by (and crashes at) the Big Zam during a daring final attack on the gigantic machine.

In real life Sleggar served as inspiration for the character of Roy Focker from Choujikuu Yousai Macross (1982), who has a similar fate.
