shimakaze-kun

An unofficial male version of Shimakaze of Kantai Collection.

Due to the revealing nature of the original's clothes, Shimakaze-kun will often be an identical-looking otoko no ko.

Depending on context, Shimakaze-kun can be tagged two different ways:

• Usually, Shimakaze-kun is a male cosplaying as Shimakaze. The context is the "real world", where Shimakaze is a memetic character from an online game and media franchise. This should be tagged shimakaze (kancolle) (cosplay).
• Less commonly, he may be the actual Shimakaze but male. It may be an alternate reality where Shimakaze was always male, or Shimakaze may have been transformed into a male by some event. The context is the world of Kantai Collection, where Shimakaze is a real person. This should be tagged genderswap (ftm).

Where insufficient context exists, tagging is up to user discretion, but be consistent. In particular, the first case implies the character is "not really" Shimakaze, while the second implies the character "really" is. Thus they are generally mutually exclusive.
