The protagonist of Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei. Tatsuya is a massively powerful magician - though he usually keeps such overwhelming strength and capabilities hidden from the public eye, only using them in limited capacities when the situation absolutely demands him to. He is somewhat stoic and quite witty at times, though his social interactions are very mechanical and he rarely if ever behaves genuinely towards someone that isn't his beloved younger sister, Shiba Miyuki.
