An upgraded high performance variant of the Ford Mustang, produced from 1967 to 1970 for the first generation models. The GT500 would return in 2005 as a high performance trim level for the S197 models, and would remain an option for succeeding generations until 2022.

A blue GT500 is used by Rally Vincent in Gunsmith Cats.
