scorpion (mortal kombat)

Scorpion is a character in the Mortal Kombat series. A ninja of the Shirai Ryu clan, Scorpion has command over the element of fire, and his primary weapon is a wickedly sharp spear on a chain that he uses to pierce and reel in enemies.

Two people have taken the mantle of Scorpion. In the first two MK timelines, he is Hanzo Hasashi, becoming Scorpion as an undead specter. In the third MK timeline, as introduced in Mortal Kombat 1 (2023), he is the brother of Sub-Zero, Kuai Liang, and became Scorpion as a living man.
