sasuke (ninja warrior)
Sasuke is a sports entertainment reality competition where a number of contestants (typically 100) traverse a four-stage obstacle course. Each obstacle is designed to tax either a contestant's agility, quickness in feet, or upper body strength. A false move in passing the obstacle would make them fall into the water below. This culminates in a final stage composed of a rope climb to the top of a high platform in a given time limit. The competition is typically run in Japan as at least a three-hour show. Edited/Shortened versions are aired outside Japan under the title Ninja Warrior (hence this tag's qualifier and later officially the show's subtitle) and several localized versions outside Japan have since made, some using the Ninja Warrior name (e.g. American Ninja Warrior and Ninja Warrior UK to name two of the best known).
Named after the character Sarutobi Sasuke.
