sakura taisen: kanade-gumi

Sakura Taisen spin-off manga series. Unlike the rest of the franchise, which features male leads with an ensemble of female love interests, Kanade-gumi follows a female protagonist who's assigned as division captain to the Imperial Combat Revue's all-male Recital Division.

The series ran from 2012 to 2013 and was illustrated by Shimada Chie. Voice drama CDs based on the manga were released afterwards, as well as several stage plays.
