Series: Shinryaku! Ika Musume

The one and only character who takes Ika Musume at her word. Nagisa got a job at the Aizawa family's beachhouse and was horrified to find a squid monster waiting tables. She finds Ika creepy rather than cute, and thinks her invasion plans are scary rather than harmless bluster. (Naturally, this thrills Ika to no end.) Eventually, as Nagisa discovers how ordinary Ika is most of the time, she perversely finds herself getting excited any time the "fearsome invader" puts in a little effort.

Nagisa has short hair, is into surfing (for which she wears a wetsuit), and is generally a tomboy -- to the point where she can pass for a guy with just a few slight adjustments. Eiko sometimes makes her do this in an attempt to bring in more female customers, and to Nagisa's dismay, it works really well.
