The eighth main installment of the Ryuu Ga Gotoku series.

In 2000, a bottom-tier yakuza, Kasuga Ichiban volunteers to turn himself in prison for a crime he did not commit to protect his family. However, after being released from prison in 2019, Kasuga has been betrayed by his patriarch and the city he was raised in now foreign to him. He now must rebuild his life within the streets of Yokohama with the help of his friends in order to reach to the top and have a happy ending, just like Dragon Quest.
