rurouni kenshin

A Historical Samurai manga series by Watsuki Nobuhiro that ran in Shounen Jump from 1994 until 1999. It was adapted into a 95 episode anime series that ran from 1996 to 1998 and several anime films. As of 2021, five live action movies based the series were released. A reboot of the anime began airing on December 2023.
