resolution comparison (meme)
An image macro that contrast a low-resolution depiction of a character alongside a high-definition version.
This meme gained a small resurgence on Twitter in September 2024 with artists drawing characters in normal and various styles of chibi forms with in-between resolutions added.
An offshoot of this meme is the "RTX Off / RTX On" meme which is based on various Nvidia tech demo videos showcasing the new Real-Time Ray Tracing functionality of their then-upcoming GeForce RTX 2000 series GPUs in 2018.
