During an Apex Legends stream, Dokibird was grouped up with two other players who knew each other and were talking in voice chat.
The atmosphere started somewhat intimate with Dokibird quietly listening in on the conversation, until one person asked if the other one was still with someone else.
The answer was "Yeah. He is right next to me [...]" at which point the atmosphere dramatically shifted to awkward. The clip went viral, with Doki's exaggerated expression becoming a topic of redraws and discussion about advancements in vtuber model tracking.
