red pikmin
A variety of Pikmin that first appears in Pikmin 1, they are the first type of Pikmin that is discovered in every game and are considered as one of the the "main" types of Pikmin.
Their bodies are red in color and they occasionally have a white flower on their head. Most notable are their pointy noses, being the only Pikmin to have one. They are also immune to fire and have a slightly higher attack power than the other normal Pikmin.
