realified

A type of character design based on applying "real life logic" where a pokemon, Pal, digimon, etc is drawn as the thing or creature they were based on. Distinct from simply being drawn well or realism in that it is about applying "real world logic" to the design. Though the distinction can be blurry espcially when dealing with designs that already closely resemble what they are based on, eg, pokemon that very closely look like a real life animal with little change. A good indicator of this can be a character design being changed to be more like the real life counterpart, such as a bipedal character based on a quadrupedal creature being drawn walking on all fours like the real life creature. As opposed to just adding more detail, eg visible strands of fur on something that was already furry but not that detailed.
