popoi (puyopuyo)
A black cat from Puyopuyo. He is owned by Accord.
He debuted in Puyopuyo Fever, where he takes on a shadowy, monstrous form called Black Popoi, but he reverts back into a regular-sized cat by the end. After this game, he typically assumes the form of a normal cat; his shadowy form can only be seen again in Puyopuyo Quest.

Trivia
- He's allegedly a sentient puppet.
- In the original Japanese, he and Accord are both voiced by Kouzuki Miwa. The same goes for the English VA (uncredited). But from Puyopuyo Tetris onwards, his English voice is by Kyle Hebert.
