A Pokémon ROM hack built upon the foundation of Pokémon Fire Red, originally released in 2010. It is the sequel to Pokémon Altair & Sirius. As of 2016, the hack has had an English-language port, with translation work having been conducted on the Nuzlocke Forums.

Pokémon Vega broke new ground in 2010 by introducing the physical/special split to GBA Pokémon and utilizing a number of then-new Pokémon from Generation V. It expanded upon the many custom Pokémon introduced in its prequels and added a substantial number of new ones, adding up to a full Pokédex of 386.

The game takes place in a brand-new, custom region named Tohoak, a land completely covered in snow. The story references many events from the Pokémon anime movies on top of its own core conflict, in which the player must take down Team Dark Hole and their ambition to use the Meteoric Pokémon for nefarious ends.
