Laboratory tool used in chemistry and biology to transfer fixed quantities of liquid.

Most pipettes depicted in anime-related art are pasteur pipettes, consisting of a tapered glass (sometimes plastic) tube with a bulb on one end that is depressed to draw in and dispense liquids. The overall shape resembles an oversized eye dropper, and the pipette is sometimes referred to as such.
