pickle (grappler baki)

One of the antagonist/recurring character from Grappler Baki and the titular antagonist of the Pickle arc

Pickle is a primitive man whose his body was found perfectly preserved in a saline rock formation, hence his name. He was supposedly born during the Jurassic era and hunted dinosaurs for a living. He was brought back from suspended animation by American scientists. Pickle later attracted the interests of several powerful fighters who sought to test their strength, including Hanma Yujiro who viewed him as a potential "worthy" opponent.

While Pickle generally behaves in a stereotypical "primitive caveman" fashion, he is known to possess strength far greater than almost all of the cast, being able to match Yujiro and Biscuit Oliva in sheer brute force. Despite fighting with sheer brute strength with no martial arts background whatsoever, Pickle is able to defeat even the most skilled fighters though overwhelming endurance. He does, however, recognize strong fighters despite a language barrier and is shown to pay respect to any opponents he deems "worthy" on multiple occasions.
