pan (dragon ball)
Dragon Ball character. First appearance being as a child at the end of the original manga series, while she had a major role in Dragon Ball GT. Pan is the only daughter of Son Gohan and Videl, Son Goten's niece, and Son Goku, Chi-Chi, and Mr. Satan's granddaughter. Her name is derived from the Japanese term for "bread" (the Son family), the Greek god Pan (Mr. Satan and Videl) and the pan flute (Piccolo), creating a multilayered name befitting Toriyama's style.
