A 1996 manga series by Itou Takehito, adapted into a 1998 television animation by Sunrise, and is about a motley cast of individuals brought together aboard the show's namesake ship, fending off space pirates while in search of a mysterious treasure known as the Galactic Leyline.
The 1999 anime and manga Angel Links is a direct spin-off of the series' universe, and although Duuz Delax Rex and Valeria Vertone are present in both, neither series' plots have any direct or continuous relation to one another.
