Transformers character. He appears in the Beast Wars and Beast Wars II CGI animated series from the late 90s.

Optimus Primal is an heroic maximal Autobot, a sentient alien robot that can transform into a dark grey, red, silver and blue mechanical gorilla.

In Japan his name was changed to Beast Convoy. He later appears in the Beast Wars II movie when Lio Convoy uses a time machine to bring him to their time period after Galvatron summoned MajinZarak.

Motto: "Peace is the absence of conflict and the presence of justice...".
