opfor (call of duty)

A paramilitary faction led by Khaled al-Asad. OpFor is short for Opposing Forces or Opposition Force.

In Call of Duty 4, they took power in an unnamed Middle Eastern country in 2011 following an armed coup. The Russian Ultranationalists supply weapons to the OpFor for being their ally.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009), the OpFor appears in Afghanistan. The fighters are seen wearing camouflage military fatigues.
