one world trade center

The replacement for the World Trade Center that was destroyed by the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Formerly called the Freedom Tower.

The building was opened in 2014 and is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. It is located near where the original Twin Towers once stood.
