Feathered headdress in the style generally worn by Native Americans of the Great Plains, such as the Cheyenne and Sioux. The more ornate ones are also called "war bonnets".

Generally consists of multiple feathers (eagle ones, usually) attached to the top edge of a leather 'headband'.
