Deceased Mangaka (March 8, 1922 – November 30, 2015). He authored GeGeGe no Kitarou, Kappa no Sanpei, and Akuma-kun, as well as being the pioneer of the yokai manga genre.
He lost his left arm while he fought in New Guinea during World War II.
For his style parodied in art, use mizuki shigeru (style) instead.
