Kantai Collection's personification of the heavy cruiser USS Minneapolis (CA-36). Character designed by Hoshiakari.
She has long blonde hair tied into twintails, and grey eyes. Her default outfit is the New Orleans-class uniform: a blue shirt, black choker, white neck ribbon, grey gloves, grey apron, blue skirt, black thigh boots, and a grey mini hat patterned off her real-life bridge.
Her rigging consists of two hull pieces, each with a 203 mm triple gun mount, 127 mm single pedestal mount, and aircraft catapults; held to her back by her two funnels. In her Kai form, Minneapolis' apron gets shortened in the front, she adds an SK radar antenna on her right arm, and her rigging gains a pair of Oerlikon 20mm gun mounts.
The damaged art of Minneapolis' base form has the detail of several logs piled up in her destroyed bow, mirroring actual damage-control measures taken by Minneapolis' crew in 1942. This is the major detail connecting Minneapolis to her Abyssal form, New Heavy Cruiser Princess.
