mima (touhou)

A Touhou PC-98 character. A vengeful spirit who haunts the area around the Hakurei Shrine.

She appears in Highly Responsive to Prayers, Story of Eastern Wonderland, Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream, and Mystic Square. Her design varies throughout these games, but generally she has long green hair and blue or purple clothing.

She is believed to be the former master/teacher and mother figure (possibly even literal mother) of Kirisame Marisa, whom she taught several spells, like Orrerie's Sun. A handful of cryptic comments made by ZUN in side materials imply Mima might be a deity connected to Hakurei Shrine.
