The Methuss Kai (メタス改, Metasu Kai or Methuss Refined) is an aqua colored variant of the Methuss MS introduced in Zeta Gundam MSV which closely resembled the original design and took advantage of the speed of its mobile armor mode by equipping it with a high capacity mega beam cannon that greatly increased its combat capabilities.

The joints of the Methuss Kai were improved to solve the problem of the original's weak body. Its head unit was also redesigned with more modern and potent sensors.
