metal gear rising: revengeance

A science fiction action video game developed by Platinum Games and produced by Kojima Productions. The game was originally conceived as "Metal Gear Solid: Rising".

It is a spin-off of the Metal Gear series, focusing on the character Raiden and his work with the PMC Maverick Securities after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots.

Due to the game's over-the-top narrative and characters, it has gained memetic status since its release. In 2021, it has regained resurgence in popularity due to a meme involving Raiden punching Senator Armstrong.
