Manga series written by Yokote Michiko and illustrated by Pink Hanamori. Originally serialized in Kodansha's Nakayoshi from 2002 to 2005, later collected in 7 volumes. It was adapted into an anime series with two seasons: the 52-episode Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch (2003-2004) and the 39-episode Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure (2004).
