A playable character from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Melady is a wyvern rider who serves as the retainer of Princess Guinevere of Bern, alongside the cleric Elen. Her wyvern is named Tryffin.
She also has a younger brother, Zeiss, and was once Galle's lover, until their conflicting loyalties place them on opposite sides of the war: Melady is loyal to Guinevere, who sides with Roy, while Galle is loyal to General Murdock, who in turn is loyal to King Zephiel. She can also potentially befriend Lugh and Trec via supports.
Appearance-wise, she bears a strong resemblance to Minerva from Fire Emblem: Mystery of The Emblem, having red, short hair, red boots over black thighhighs, a red breastplate, and a circlet around her forehead. Often depicted wielding a lance, her weapon of choice.
