One of the three main characters, the Marui triplets. Futaba is the middle triplet but often seems to be from a whole different family. Unlike her sisters, she's endlessly cheerful and outgoing, and shows great affection to their father. She's a born athlete and dresses the part, going barefoot almost constantly and wearing her hair in a samurai topknot.

Judging by image count, Futaba is the least popular of the triplets for fanart. Ironically, she's an artist herself and apparently has real talent for it -- her art has been known to fool people into thinking it's real.
