mario vs. donkey kong 2: march of the minis

Sequel to Mario vs. Donkey Kong, released on the Nintendo DS. Unlike the previous entry, it forgoes the ability to directly control Mario and the platforming gameplay in order for the player to guide the Mini-Marios to puzzle solve through stages full of obstacles with the touch screen instead.

This entry is notable for revitalizing Pauline, bringing her back into the Mario franchise and intertwining her again in the Mario & Donkey Kong rivalry after a 12 year absence, reprising her role as the kidnapped damsel in distress. She still keeps her redesign that she received from Donkey Kong (Game Boy) relatively unchanged.
