A fictional mecha from the Gundam series. It first appeared in Zeta Gundam from 1985.

RMS-108 Marasai

Originally developed by Anaheim Electronics as the MSA-002 MS for the AEUG, pressure by the Titans meant the Zeonic looking type was forced into service by the oppressive elite Federation unit in mostly orange colors during U.C. 0087. While it was a comprehensive all-round improvement over the pitiful Hizack, its weapon selection was much more limited, as it could only load advanced beam weapons. Later replaced by the more capable Barzam in frontline service.

After the Gryphs War the last surviving Marasai units were acquired by Neo Zeon who used them to fill their ranks with a gray color scheme several years later. Some optimized green and grey Marasais even ended up being used by "The Sleeves" during their Attack on Torrington Base.
