macross frontier: itsuwari no utahime

First theatrical version of the Macross Frontier TV anime series that opened in Japan on November 21, 2009.

It re-edited the story of the television series with new footage, costume and mecha designs, as well as changes to the storyline.

The story of this animated film is continued in the movie Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa from 2011.
