マクロスザ・ファースト

A new manga adaptation of the first MACROSS TV series from the 80s. The first issue was released in Japan during 2009. Is currently ongoing.

This manga is an alternate telling of the events in Choujikuu Yousai Macross (with modern character and mecha designs) that is being serialized in the Shounen Ace comic magazine.

The artist for the new manga series is Mikimoto Haruhiko, who was the character designer for the first and second Macross TV series.
