m1 garand
An American semi-automatic rifle, primarily chambered for .30-06 Springfield cartridge. Widely replaced the M1903 Springfield and Lee-Enfield bolt action rifles, it became the primary service rifle of the US Army during the World War II, including Korean War. The weapon is named after its designer, John Garand.
Its feed system is 8-round en-bloc clip. The M1 Garand is well-known for making a “ping” sound after firing the last round when the clip is ejected.
