A medium-size wild cat of the genus Lynx. Notable features of lynxes include their short tails, black hair tufts on the tips of their ears, and relatively large padded paws adept at walking on snow.

The four species of Lynx are: Canada lynx, Iberian lynx, Eurasian lynx, and bobcat.
