low neckline
A neckline that is often revealing in nature, seemingly supported only by the curve of the breasts or pecs. Because the clothing appears inches away from a nipple or areola slip, this often means there's visible cleavage.
This neckline is most common in strapless and off shoulder clothing.
Not to be confused with plunging neckline, which is also a low neckline that scoops down between the breasts/pecs.
