live2d

A form of animating 2D images using layered segments, allowing for the animation to be generated procedurally rather than requiring frame-by-frame animation. Often employed by virtual youtubers, and used for idle animations in gacha games such as Azur Lane and Fire Emblem Heroes.

When applicable and possible, animated Live2D posts should be tagged with both the original artist and the L2D rigger.
