link (shounen captain)

A version of Link created for an article on The Legend of Zelda in the magazine Shounen Captain (later famous as the home of Trigun and Armitage III) on the game's release in 1986. Unlike the child Link that appears in game, this Link is a young woman with long red hair, likely because the artist had confused the "Zelda" of the title with the protagonist in the game.
