liberty island (racehorse)

Named after the island where the Statue of Liberty is situated.

Japanese racehorse. Sired by Duramente and foaled by Yankee Rose.

This filly is famous for outright dominating the 2023 Triple Tiara by winning all three races and becoming the seventh Japanese Triple Tiara, the third in five years, following Almond Eye in 2018 and Daring Tact in 2020.

She is a bay filly with a star and thin broken stripe marking. She can be easily distinguished by her mane fringe braid, decorated with a pompom of some sort.
