lae'zel

One of the eight Origin characters in Baldur's Gate 3 who can either be the player character or potential party member. A female githyanki fighter who is driven by ambition and fanatical loyalty to Vlaakith, the lich queen of the githyanki race. Notable for being the first Origin character the player will always meet, assuming she isn't the player character, of course. Like most githyanki, Lae'zel is proud, militaristic, and xenophobic, prioritizing her survival and goals, seeing the party as simply means to her ends, and looking down on concepts of the mortal plane such as empathy and altruism. She nonetheless recognizes and respects her companions capabilities, so long as they don't interfere with her goals.

Lae'zel has also become notorious for how bafflingly easy it is to win her affections and trigger an intimate relationship with, with one player having infamously speedrun from a new game to her intimate scene in as little as 2 minutes.
