He is the father of the series' protagonist Kusanagi Kyo.

He wears a green-colored traditional Kusanagi-style robe with lime green baggy pants.

He was supposedly killed by Rugal before The King of Fighters '94 but Vice eventually brainwashed him in the next year's tournament (The King of Fighters '95).

He was eventually defeated by his son and returned to his senses.
